Timbermate Waxstix to Repair Scratches in a Hardwood Floor
Barry and Bryan from Timbermate USA demonstrate how to fix sratches and dents with their new Waxstix. The Timbermate Waxstix are colored synthetic wax sticks that are melted into the scratch or dent, to fill the imperfection. Unlike other wax products, because these are made of a synthetic material, they can be coated over with a hardwood floor finish!
I still see the scratch
From a standing position, you can slightly still see the scratch (because I know where to look!), but no where near how visible it was before.
I’m sorry, but it still looks like shit.
I can see the scratch and it sticks out a bit more because it looks like a 5 year old melted his raw umber crayon over it.
it is a trick to improve the scratch witout having to pay a lot of money or doing board replacement. I use this product all the time works great!
i allways heard that if you put a little bit of metho flamable shit and put it in the scrash or dent and than light it the grain in the wood jumps up and than you just sand it flush but than you probley have to sand your whole floor
@ht448 thats mainly for white rings, trapped vapour under the finish
