aren’t the tongue are grooves suppossed to be glued also? If not, then what about water penetration from above?
even if the moisture is within the manufactures recommendations, temperature always changes in winter, summer, rainy days. You should always use moisture barrier before u install real hardwood or engineered wood floors.
